I'm Mylah, a wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas, capturing timeless and intentional memories that celebrate marriage.
Welcome
Courtney and Ryan met in their kindergarten class. The next year, they played on the same soccer team. His dad joked during their wedding ceremony that both sets of parents have been planning their arranged marriage since then. In sixth grade, they were named sweethearts of the Valentine’s dance. They played basketball on the same court and played softball/baseball on adjacent fields. In 2014, Ryan asked Courtney to be his girlfriend and three years later they were both accepted at Texas A&M. With their friends and family surrounding them both at their graduation party, Ryan asked Courtney to be his wife. She said yes to her best friend and the love of her life. Courtney and Ryan were married last Friday and it was my joy to be their Lone Oak Barn wedding photographer in Round Rock, TX.
After sharing a first look with her dad and brother, it was time for Ryan to see his best friend and bride! They shared a first look, which is a great chance to get some of those wedding day jitters out and freely react to seeing your person on your wedding day.
After Courtney and Ryan shared their first look, it was time for her bridesmaids to see her all dressed up on her wedding day. Some of these ladies have known Courtney and Ryan since their elementary school days!
There were so many happy tears as Courtney walked down the aisle on the arm of her father. Ryan cried, even though he’d already seen her. Both of their sweet mamas were also wiping away tears as their two families, who have known each other for decades, even to their grandparents’ years in school, finally became one.
These just married moments are some of my favorite images from their Lone Oak Barn wedding! There is so much joy on their faces and they’re surrounded by those that have loved them and supported them throughout their lives together!
Courtney and Ryan vowed forever to each other at the foot of the cross. Scripture was read over them at the start of their marriage and was found all around their wedding reception as they broke bread with their loved ones. Guests highlighted their favorite bible verses for them to read together throughout their marriage.
Courtney and Ryan – thank you so much for inviting me to be your Lone Oak Barn wedding photographer! I loved spending the day with y’all and your families and getting to know y’all’s love story!
