This past Saturday, exactly two years after they first met at Half Step on Rainy Street in Austin, TX during SXSW, Amberley and Parker tied the knot at their Lone Oak Barn wedding.  His pick up line the day they met would be the same line she used to start her wedding vows, as the two committed themselves to each other, forever, in front of friends and family.  

Daddy Daughter first looks are quickly becoming a favorite of mine! 

Parker had a confession for Amberley during his wedding vows.  AFTER she vowed to always leave love notes on the mirror and find awesome concerts for the two of them to attend, Parker let her know that one of the very first things that attracted her to him was a false pretense.  She loved the way he folded towels, but… when she noticed the towels, it had been just after a recent move.  Parker’s mom was helping with the move and was actually the one who folded the towels in that perfect way Amberley loved so much.  With that confession out in the open, Parker was free of his guilty conscience and was able to proceed with his marriage vows.  

During their wedding ceremony at Lone Oak Barn, Amberley and Parker created an art piece to be displayed in their home that will forever serve as a reminder to always love each other the way they did (and more) on their wedding day.  

Boots with dresses!!  You KNOW I loved the bridesmaids’ style at this Lone Oak Barn wedding! 

Parker and Amberley shared one of THE cutest first dances EVER!!  It was full of twirling and kisses and so much joy! 

Continuing with their Austin themed wedding, guests were served Austin culinary staples for dinner: Street Tacos, BBQ Sliders, and Brunch in the form of CHICKEN AND WAFFLES!!!  

During the best man speech, Parker’s brother challenged the newlyweds to a race of who would be the first to bless their parents with grandchildren.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Parker and Amberley brought in a Build-Your-Own Cupcake Bar for their Lone Oak Barn wedding guests to enjoy.  Options included 3 different flavors of cupcakes, filling, and the choice of your toppings, shown below.  I LOVE this idea!  Guests can each enjoy dessert, just how they would make it for themselves!

Amberley and Parker, thank you SO MUCH for inviting us to document your Lone Oak Barn wedding!  We enjoyed seeing the city of Austin being played out as a wedding theme!  Y’all did it so creatively!  More than that, we were incredibly fond of watching your love story unfold and witnessing how much love your friends and family have for y’all!  That support system will be invaluable to your marriage.  It’s a true blessing.
