Grace and Clarke have been dating for almost three years.  They started planning their Lufkin wedding before they were even engaged!  So, there was absolutely no way Covid-19 was going to steal their joyous day.  Instead of postponing, they made the tough decision to have a smaller guest list and moved their venue to an outdoor option.  But, these two are quite familiar with making adjustments to the plan, as they opened a frozen yogurt shop just weeks before the mandated shut-down orders.  I’m happy to report that their business, Farmhouse Frozen Yogurt, is doing well and is super yummy!  If you’re ever in Lufkin, make sure you stop by!  Here’s a peek at some of my favorites as their Lufkin Wedding Photographer!

The weather was a bit wild on their wedding day. There was sunshine and storms and a mix of both at the same time.  We planned the location of the first look while it was sunny, but the weather quickly changed to storming within a matter of minutes. Part of what makes their first look so special is that it was raining! (Would it be too cheesy to say that the sky was crying happy tears along with Clarke at the sight of his beautiful bride on his wedding day?!?)

One of my favorite parts of Grace and Clarke’s love story is that Clarke told his mom he was going to marry Grace long before they were even a couple!  He may have even said this before they met in person!  He was right!

They’re married!!!  I love that their wedding ceremony was so personal!  They each had a grandfather included in the ceremony.  Grace’s grandfather said that the family calls her sunshine.  Clarke’s grandfather shared that his family legacy included all his siblings celebrating 50 years of marriage (or more, as he has been married 62 years)!  They seriously had such a joyful day!
