Katherine and Phil met in 2014.  They ran into each other at a bar and went their separate ways.  Two nights later, they spotted each other again.  Phil asked Katherine if she remembered him and she did.  They started chatting and found out that they had been in the same class all semester.  Soon after, they started dating.  They were long distance for a while, but both relocated to Austin, Texas in 2019.  After about a year of being in the same city and working from home together during a global pandemic, Phil asked Katherine to be his wife.  She said yes, with their puppy Luna present.  The two were married on Saturday in Dripping Springs, Texas.  It was a joy to be their Ma Maison wedding photographer and document their celebration!

Katherine and Phil’s Ma Maison wedding ceremony was held at The Grove. It has a beautiful backdrop of Live Oak Trees.

The Hill Country views at Ma Maison in Dripping Springs are hard to beat.

Their fur baby, Luna, made a cameo appearance with her very own cocktail.

While guests were enjoying dinner, we snuck out for a few minutes just before sunset for a few portraits of the bride and groom.  Katherine had changed into different shoes and her dress had a sleeve change for the dancing party that was about to happen.  She was such a vibe!
