If I could only use one word to describe Tommy and Caitlyn’s Summer wedding at Mae’s Ridge, it would be JOYFUL.  These two could not stop laughing, smiling, and crying happy tears all day long!  The kind of happy tears that fall because you’re laughing so hard started in the bridal suite and continued straight through to their sparkler exit at the end of the reception.  As their Mae’s Ridge wedding photographer, it reaffirmed why I love photographing weddings.  It’s a celebration of two people committing forever to each other with all their loved ones under one roof.  It was the kind of day that as long as the two of them were married at the end, it would have gone perfectly.  And it did.

Caitlyn’s flower girls’ reaction to seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress is one of my all time favorites!  This wasn’t a planned moment, just a genuinely happy reaction from her nieces!

Caitlyn and Tommy opted for a first look.  It’s a great chance to spend more time with the one person you’re about to commit your forever to on the one day you make it official!

Their wedding colors were inspired by the desert sunset.

I loved this sign above their sweetheart table!  Their last name is Goode.

Caitlyn told me that one of the things she was most looking forward to about her wedding day was frolicking in the field with Tommy as her husband.  While guests were enjoying their dinner, we snuck out just as the sun was setting over Johnson City and made some magic happen.
