Abbi and Justin just finished building their home together.  Since it is the where they’re starting their life together, it was the perfect spot for their engagement photos!  There was more land than I could explore unguided, so Abbi suggested I ride around with the two of them and tell them to stop when light and a background caught my eye.  She reminded me that she trusts me so much that they booked me before they booked their wedding venue and my heart swelled!  Those are words of affirmation that my heart needed so much this week!  Justin was the Best Man at Bailey & Stacy’s wedding at The Lodge in Fredericksburg and it’s my joy and honor to photograph his and Abbi’s wedding this October!  Until then, here are some of my favorites from their Marble Falls engagement photos.

It was pretty windy during their session, but Abbi’s windswept hair added a touch of motion and drama that I absolutely adore!

Shout out to Think Brink Beauty for Abbi’s hair and make-up! Scheduling your trial run with your bridal beauty team for your engagement photos is a great idea.  That’s what Abbi did and it was perfect!

Fun Fact: their home is located on a hill that I drive by every time I go to a certain wedding venue.  I’ve always thought “wouldn’t it be really cool and beautiful to photograph a session there?”  Well, yes, it IS absolutely cool and beautiful and has the best views!
