Emily and Logan have such a unique love story!  They met at church, seeing each other three times a week through church events.  Before Logan had a chance to tell Emily how he felt about her and to see if their friendship could be something more, Logan had the “I’m interested in dating your daughter” talk with Emily’s dad.

A few months after they started dating, Logan started asking Emily to marry him without her knowing.  He wrote letters to her and highlighted the first letter of every note.  When you put the notes in order that Emily received them, the highlighted first letters spelled out “Will You Marry Me”.  The last thing needed was the question mark.  So, Logan took Emily to McKinney Falls State Park to “scope out the best fishing place” to allegedly take her sister’s boyfriend fishing.  Emily picked the prettiest location and that is the very spot that Logan got down on one knee to ask Emily to be his wife.  That’s also where she received the last letter with a highlighted question mark.  Of course, she said yes!

This is the spot that Logan asked Emily to be his wife!  I love that we were able to include such a sentimental location in their McKinney Falls engagement photos!  It was such a peaceful spot, too!  There were no other park-goers here and the river was so calm.

One of my favorite things about Texas in the Spring is all the wildflowers!  Of course, we had to include them in Emily and Logan’s McKinney Falls engagement session!

Emily and Logan, thank you SO MUCH for spending your Sunday evening with me last weekend!  I had such a blast exploring McKinney Falls with y’all!  I’m so looking forward to y’all’s wedding next month!
