Welcome
Meet Mason. He is such a cute little kid, but don’t let that fool you – he is FAST!!!! I mean, I ran around for about 45 minutes during his session just to keep up with him. As soon as he got out of his car seat, he ran straight to the park and, at that very moment, I regretted letting my cardio slack.
After chasing him around Pfluger Park playscape (which reminded me of being a kid myself – I’m not sure if it was because its the first time in quite a while that I’ve actually gotten on/in a playscape or if it was the park itself, since I used to play at the very same park when I was little), he caught a peek into his mom’s purse which had BUBBLES!!
After he got bored with the bubbles, he decided that a sword fight with his dad was the next best thing:
Then, he remembered that the creek was there and he could splash in the water! This right here is one happy boy! Doesn’t this photo just make your heart smile?!Ok, so we may have tickled him more than just a little….
The best thing about being little, to me, is the imagination! If only our old-people brains had half as much imagination as these little ones! Mason found three sticks, crossed them in his hand, and called it an airplane! Then, he proceeded to fly it around the sidewalk. After the airplane landed, the sticks quickly became drumsticks! This sweet little boy reminded me that if we concentrate on what we have and the joy that is already present in our lives, we won’t worry about what we don’t have.
While he was actively ignoring me trying to sing “Ice, Ice Baby” (Please do not ask why this song was the first that came to mind when I tried to get his attention), we took a few moments to concentrate on mom and dad. The special thing about this Pflugerville Family Photography session was that it is also the start of mom and dad getting back together. Their story is special to me, because my own parents split up when I was little. After a few years, they decided that they couldn’t live without each other anymore, so they remarried each other.

Mylah, thanks so much for the amazing pictures! I know how hard it is to get great shots of my crazy kiddo, so I really appreciate the effort you put into getting great pictures of the three of us!
