Kelly and William love to travel, so it’s no surprise that they got engaged while traveling in Hawaii!  While underwater, swimming with Manta Rays, William held up a piece of paper that read: “Will you marry me?”  Once they were back on the boat, with the night sky above, William got down on one knee to present Kelly with one of the most unique rings I’ve ever seen.  The center stone is a pink sapphire and it’s so pretty!  That was almost two years ago and the two are planning a wedding next month!  Their Salado engagement photos started at The Salado College Ruins.

After a quick outfit change and a quick drive, we wrapped up their Salado engagement photos on the creek. This is a special spot to them as William’s family lives just down the road.  It’ll be so fun for them, years down the road, to be able to drive by this spot when they visit family and remember this special season of being engaged!

Kelly and William – thank you so much for meeting me yesterday for your engagement session in Salado!  I love that I was finally able to get y’all in front of my camera AND that y’all’s session was my first one in my new hometown!  I’m very much looking forward to celebrating y’all next month!
