It was a day Zach and Tatum will remember forever, filled with thoughtful planning. Together for three years, they had plans to attend a wine tasting event—or so Tatum thought. When they arrived at Sekrit Theater in Austin, Zach led her into a vintage glass greenhouse filled with autumn’s rich hues, each fallen leaf hinting at the changing of the season. The scene at Sekrit Theater looked like an “Autumn in New York” rom-com, complete with a charming fountain.  Before she knew it, he was down on one knee, asking her the question she’d been waiting to hear. She said yes, and a joyful “yes” it was.  It was the perfect Sekrit Theater Proposal in Austin.

As if the surprise proposal wasn’t enough, Zach had more planned for this unforgettable day. He popped open a bottle of champagne, a playful nod to the wine tasting he had promised, allowing them to savor a quiet moment together before the next surprise. Unbeknownst to Tatum, Zach’s parents had arrived early to help him create this beautiful setting, a collaboration filled with love. Tatum was soon full of questions, wondering if their closest friends and family had known. And they had—both sets of parents and all their loved ones had kept the secret beautifully.

The timing could not have been more perfect! Zach chose this day to propose, just one day before their third anniversary. To make it even more special, this timing marked the beginning of their one-year countdown to their wedding day. As they celebrated, we captured posed engagement photos, documenting every smile and look exchanged in this romantic, secluded spot.

Can you sense the “Autumn in New York” rom-com feel?  It may be the storm clouds, that didn’t rain, or the fountain that reminds me of Central Park.  It could have also just been the joy radiating from Tate and Zach in this moment that were giving all the romantic movie feels!

This Sekrit Theater proposal, with its cozy Fall feel, was the perfect kickoff to start the one year countdown to their wedding day!  I can’t wait to celebrate with them, then!
