I'm Mylah, a wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas, capturing timeless and intentional memories that celebrate marriage.
Welcome
Kelsey broke into Cody’s apartment while they were both attending school at Baylor University. Her friend had promised her the CUTEST puppy was living in that apartment. That puppy, Sadie Grace, is the very reason Kelsey met Cody. Now, on the weekend of their graduation from Baylor, the two have tied the knot!
Right after Kelsey’s bridesmaids were able to bask in her bridal beauty, they prayed over Kelsey and her new marriage. You’ll find that prayer and seeking GOD’s guidance is a theme to this beautiful day.
After the daddy daughter first look, Kelsey headed down the aisle to meet her husband-to-be, Cody. They shared a first look before the ceremony to soak in the moment, calm their nerves, and pray, again, for their marriage.
Another huge perk of having a first look is that the bride and groom get more romantic portraits of just the two of them on their wedding day!
During their wedding ceremony at The Springs Georgetown, Kelsey and Cody shared communion as one of the first things they did together as a married couple.
Once inside the reception, guests were asked to share their favorite Bible verse with the newlyweds! I absolutely ADORE this idea and wish Dylan and I had done this at our wedding! Matthew 6:33 states “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” and is inscribed on the inside of Kelsey’s engagement ring.
After dinner, toasts were made and the reoccurring theme, as the whole day had been, was how much these two love GOD and put HIS will first. This was evident in all the prayers said throughout the day, the first thing they did as a married couple – even before the kiss – was take communion together, and that their guest book was The Bible! A cord of three strands is not easily broken and these two have made it a point to invite GOD into their marriage.
This was a PARTY crowd! They had a TON of things to celebrate (the top two being graduation weekend AND Kelsey and Cody’s wedding day)!
Kelsey and Cody – thank you SO MUCH for inviting Dylan and me to be your The Springs Georgetown Wedding Photographer! We absolutely loved being able to celebrate with y’all, as y’all became husband and wife. Even more than that, we loved that your wedding pointed people to Jesus. Let that continue in your marriage and you’ll do great things in His Kingdom!
Much love,
Mylah Renae

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful day!
[…] Whatever Riley wrote to his bride on their wedding day had her in tears. After Stefanie read it, her sisters read it as well. Tears were in abundance on this day! (And if Riley’s sister looks familiar, it’s because we photographed her wedding last year at The Milestone in Georgetown!) […]
