I'm Mylah, a wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas, capturing timeless and intentional memories that celebrate marriage.
Welcome
This past Saturday, Tom and Olivia tied the knot at The Union on Eighth in Georgetown, TX. While most brides may chose to get ready in their bridal suite, Olivia and I had the chance to walk the property together a few weeks ago and opted for her to get ready in the bathroom. Yes, you read that right: Olivia got ready in the bathroom at The Union on Eighth. It is absolutely gorgeous (yes, I know I’m gushing about a bathroom) and Dylan and I BOTH took detail shots in there! Crazy, huh? Well, this is what it looks like: Tom and Olivia chose to have a first look, which is a great opportunity for the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony. Tom and Olivia’s bridal party was made up of 100% family!
I don’t usually share any family portraits (although I do take them at every wedding), but these individual shots with their parents were just too sweet to pass up!
If you’re wondering why EVERYONE is cracking up: Tom tried to remember that he had to give Olivia the right hand that he’s supposed to wear his wedding band on. Well, he gave her his RIGHT hand, instead of the correct hand. On top of that, the Justice let them do it! HA! He did correct them, but everyone thought it was so cute!
One of the things I love most about Tom and Olivia is their ability to have fun. They’re both very easy going and just want to live life to the fullest! With this, it was VERY fitting that they both danced back down the aisle as man and wife, along with their bridal party!
I love that Tom and Olivia started off their first dance as man and wife with a slow song… THEN, changed it up with “Stuck Like Glue!” So fun!
The Groomsmen had WAY TOO MUCH FUN on the dance floor! Seriously, they were such a hoot and everyone enjoyed watching them celebrate together! Tom and Olivia, thank you SO much for inviting Dylan and I into such a special day for the two of you! We are absolutely honored to have documented the beginning of this fun journey for y’all! Also, a great big thank you to the following vendors who helped bring this wedding to life:
