Nick and Laura are such a sweet couple!  I knew that we would be a great fit from our very first conversation.  We laughed so hard we cried.  Laura bragged on some of Nick’s work accomplishments and was just gushing about him as a person.  Then, she got teary-eyed just thinking about the sweet season ahead of her and Nick as an engaged couple.  He just grinned at her and put an arm around her.  They are head over heels for each other and just want to throw a fabulous celebration for their loved ones.  It was so fun to have them in front of my camera last week for their University of Texas engagement photos in Austin.  Here are some of my favorites from our time together.

Laura’s dress was a gift from her future mother in law.  Their rehearsal dinner will have a fiesta theme, so her dress is a nod towards that. I love that they put so much thought into all the little details!

We made the last minute decision to push their engagement session back one day and I’m so glad we did! The original date called for high winds (25mph and produced a tornado just north of Austin), so we postponed one day and I’m so glad they were flexible with their date! We had plenty of sunshine and that is always a win!

These next shots are special requests for Nick’s grandma!  I love that they wanted to take these specifically for her to make her happy! Family is so important to them.  Of course, we couldn’t have engagement photos at The University of Texas and not include the UT Tower.
