As the end of Summer draws near, I have to share this Mamma Mia inspired wedding editorial at Villa Antonia in Austin, Texas!  Caitlin with CMDesigns Weddings has had this vision for a styled shoot since she first saw the movie!  When I introduced her to Villa Antonia, a wedding venue with strong Mediterranean vibes, she knew she finally found the perfect location for her dream editorial.  Caitlin pulled in her favorite wedding creatives from Central Texas to bring this vision to life and it was such a fun opportunity to photograph!  We all felt like we were just playing that afternoon with some friends, creating just for the fun of it!  It’s an added bonus that this Mamma Mia editorial at Villa Antonia will soon be published in Brides of Austin!

This beautiful lady needs a special shout out!  This is Diana!  She was the hair and makeup artist for our editorial, who also stepped up to be our model for the day when we had a last minute cancelation.  When she tried the dress on and found out that it fit, she volunteered to stick around to be our bride model!  Not only did she do her own hair and makeup, but she saved the day!

One fun trend for grooms right now is the flower lapel.  It’s above and beyond the normal boutonnière and is truly a statement piece!  As always, Zuzu’s Petals did a fabulous job!
