Amanda and John met while working together on a deer hunting ranch.  The two have been dating for three years and will tie the knot next Spring at The Creek Haus!

Since the two love all things outdoors, they wanted a location for their engagement session that was a little bit rustic and country that might have a barn.  With that, we decided to head to Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas!

Amanda – I love your boots!  

I love the way John can make Amanda smile instantly! 

While on a family vacation at the beach, John took Amanda for a walk in the sand.  There, he asked her to be his wife and partner in life.  She said yes and the two will promise forever next May in Dripping Springs!

Their sweet, one year old puppy, Ellie, joined us for their engagement session!  She was a cutie!  As a hunting dog, what got her to look my direction in this photo was me yelling “Dead Bird!”  That got her attention!  Amanda made this “Save the Date” sign for Ellie’s collar!  I love that they brought their fur-baby!

John and Amanda, thank you for driving all the way up here in the middle of the week for your engagement session!  I really enjoyed my afternoon with y’all!  I can’t wait for your wedding next Spring!  I know it’s going to be great!
