Laura and Thane had their Whitewater wedding at Horseshoe Bay Resort on Friday. It was the perfect start to a beautiful weekend with friends and family.  This was Laura’s view as she was getting ready for the walk down the aisle.

Once Laura was dressed, it was time to meet Thane for their vows.  The two picked a unique ceremony site for their wedding at Horseshoe Bay Resort.  They are the first two to tie the knot at this putting green at Whitewater patio.  I loved that as Laura made her way around the ceremony site, she was able to make eye contact with Thane first, then smile at all her guests, then grin back at Thane for the rest of her walk down the aisle.

There were some colorful guests in attendance at Laura and Thane’s Whitewater wedding ceremony at Horseshoe Bay Resort.  One was extra affectionate with guests!

Laura and Thane’s wedding party consisted of his dad as best man and her two best friends since middle school.

It wouldn’t be right to miss the chance to photograph the bride and groom with Whitewater’s exotic birds!  They’re fun to watch interacting with people and people’s reaction to the birds!

Laura’s center stone in her engagement ring was her grandmother’s.  Her grandmother gifted one to each grandkid that has used it for their own ring or in the ring they proposed with.  Laura’s wedding band was designed by a friend of hers.  Her veil was handmade by her mom.  I love all the sentimental details in Laura’s bridal look!

After their wedding vows were made, Laura and Thane invited their guests to join them at the Azalea Lawn.  It’s located at the Yacht Club of Horseshoe Bay Resort and was set up in their wedding colors, white and green.  Their colors were the perfect compliment to the palm trees found throughout the resort.

After running through a tunnel of sparklers, Laura and Thane exited their Horseshoe Bay Resort wedding via boat!
