Katie and Neil had a mutual friend that set them up on a date.  It went well, but both were still a little skeptical.  Even dating websites told them the two of them would be a great match!  They went out again and tied the knot five years later at the Winfield Inn in Kyle, Texas.

Neil’s twin sister, Jami, made sure to get her hugs in on her brother’s big day! 

As guests walked up the brick sidewalk to the wedding ceremony site of The Winfield Inn, they were asked to sign a tree painting instead of a traditional guest book.

It was the flower girl’s fifth birthday! 

They’re officially married!!  

Katie was a BOSS in her wedding heels, walking over rocky terrain so we could include some Texas wildflowers in their wedding portraits!  It was worth it! 

After toasts were made by the Maid of Honor and Best Man, the wedding guests all sang “Happy Birthday” to the ring bearer and flower girl, who each turned five this past weekend. 

Katie surprised Neil by having his favorite cartoon brought to life on his wedding cake. 

There was a lot of kid twirling and throwing at this wedding!  Just look at that height! 

Neil’s parents were the last ones standing during the anniversary dance.  They will be married 44 years in July.  Their first date was a Neil Diamond concert.  His dad admits that is who Neil was named after.  Their marriage advice for Neil and Katie was to put GOD first in their marriage and to be kind.  

Katie and Neil ran back INTO The Winfield Inn through a tunnel of glow sticks!

Katie and Neil, thank you so much for inviting us into your big day!  We had so much fun documenting your wedding and celebrating with y’all and your sweet families!
