Amy and Wesley’s winter wedding at Twisted Ranch took place on the first Saturday in December.  It was such a joy-filled day!  My favorite part was when Amy asked if she could actually see Wes before the ceremony.  They had not planned on doing a first look, but in the moment she decided that the person she wanted to see and hug was, of course, Wes.  Wesley agreed and they shared a super sweet first look in the rain.  It wasn’t raining when we picked the location (and the weather had not called for rain at all that day), so it was quite a surprise!

Amy got ready with her mom and, shortly after, her dad joined them.  It wasn’t the first look with her dad she had been planning, but it was still sweet!  Her mom said they’re a modern family and it was so cute to see this sweet family interact on such a fun day.  After she was ready, it was time for her bridesmaids to get their first peek at the bride!

Even though she had already seen her dad, they both cried when she shared the card she had written him. There are so many happy tears throughout Amy and Wesley’s Winter wedding at Twisted Ranch!

I love so many things about including a first look on your wedding day, but theirs was extra sweet because it was decided in the moment!

So many happy tears!  Did you see the one on Amy’s cheek as she was walking down the aisle?  I also have a shot of her Maid of Honor and Wes’ Best Man tearing up during the ceremony!

The little alpaca stole a bite from Amy’s beautiful bouquet made by Visual Lyrics.  If you look closely, you can see the green in his mouth!
