Making a Weekend of It at Contigo Ranch

One of the best parts about hosting a wedding at Contigo Ranch is the onsite lodging. Carly and Noah made full use of the cabins and cottages, turning their wedding into a weekend-long celebration with their favorite people. From early morning coffee and mimosas on the porch to late-night laughter under the stars, the chance to stay onsite made everything feel more connected and relaxed.

Golden Hues and a Celebration of Individuality in Fredericksburg

Carly chose yellow as her wedding color—sunny, happy, and full of warmth. Rather than choosing one matching dress for all of her bridesmaids, she asked them to select their own styles in yellow. The result was a perfectly coordinated and effortlessly chic lineup that celebrated each woman’s personality and beauty.

The floral design echoed this joyful palette, with soft white blooms and pops of yellow in the bouquets by TBW Creative Studio. Together with the wind, the color scheme made the whole day feel breezy, bright, and full of life.

A True Texas Hill Country Experience

Carly and Noah chose Contigo Ranch because they wanted their guests to experience the beauty and peace of the Hill Country—wide open skies, oak trees swaying in the breeze, and the kind of stillness that makes a wedding day feel sacred. The venue’s ceremony site, affectionately called the bluff, overlooks a panoramic stretch of the countryside. On this particularly windy day, it added a dose of drama and movement to their countryside ceremony.

The name “Contigo” means with you in Spanish.  It’s perfect for a wedding, where your people come with you to witness and support the beginning of your forever!

Some of my favorite candid moments as their Contigo Ranch Wedding Photographer happened immediately after the ceremony.  Her parents hugged them both, his mom fixed Carly’s hair, their entire (almost 30 member) wedding party hugged them, and then Carly’s grandma’s reaction to getting to hug the bride.  These moment are what it’s all about.
