Before we even met to chat about their upcoming wedding, Kyndra wanted to make sure she and Mike could have New York City Engagement photos!  A few short weeks later, Dylan and I were on a plane out of Austin to document this sweet couple while they’re still dating before tying the knot this October.

One of the first location options they had considered was to pick a New York winery that they enjoy spending their weekends at.  Instead of going there, they made sure to include some of their favorite wine and enjoyed a glass during their session.  We started the day at their apartment that had an INCREDIBLE view of the Manhattan Skyline.  More than that, I love that we shot at their home – you can’t pick a more personal location than that! 

THAT VIEW!!!  Yep, these two lovebirds that have been dating for 14 years (half their lives!!) get to enjoy this gorgeous view daily.

The coffee shop may not have been in the original location plan, but the impromptu stop made for some pretty cute shots!  And who can honestly say no to coffee and dessert? 

Mike did a WONDERFUL job picking out Kyndra’s engagement ring!  It’s stunning! 

We headed into Manhattan towards the end of their session to include the Washington Square Arch.  While CRAZY busy this afternoon (it was the first beautiful day NYC has seen in a while with weather in the high 50s AND a weekend), this was a “must-stop” as Kyndra and Mike took a photo here on every trip they made to New York together.  It was only fitting to include it in their New York City engagement photos, as well! 

After their session, we headed back to their apartment and enjoyed authentic New York City Pizza, wine, and conversation overlooking the Manhattan Skyline.  The photo above was our view and it was the perfect ending to a fun afternoon!  Mike and Kyndra – Thank you for including us in your love story and inviting us to document this fun time in your lives doesn’t even begin to cover how excited Dylan and I are to be working with y’all!  We had an absolute BLAST hanging out with y’all on Sunday and cannot wait for your wedding!  It’s going to be Fabulous!
