I'm Mylah, a wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas, capturing timeless and intentional memories that celebrate marriage.
Welcome
Anthony wasn’t sure about dating Laura. Yes, she was pretty, sweet, caring, and funny, but he hesitated. Laura was his co-worker and if things didn’t go just right, they’d still have to work together and that would make things awkward. However, it didn’t take him too long before he decided that she was worth the risk. He knew there was potential for something greater than friendship with Laura and he was right. The two tied the knot on Saturday at the First Baptist Church in downtown Austin, Texas.
Once Laura was dressed and mom-approved, she headed to meet the love of her life for their first look. It was a great opportunity to get any jitters out and to fully embrace the day with the one who matters most.
This next shot is my FAVORITE from their wedding! Laura is absolutely RADIANT!
Laura’s bridesmaids were all so pretty in pink! I loved the way they all supported Laura – true best friends!
After bridal party photos were wrapped up, it was time to make the long walk down the aisle, where Laura’s step-dad performed the wedding ceremony. Needless to say, he had some great stories about Laura and watching her love story with Anthony grow up to that point where the two promised forever.
Laura and Anthony invited their family to share communion with them, as their first act as a married couple.
Not everyone who loves Laura and Anthony were able to make it to their wedding, as Heaven is just a little too far away. Those family members, or generations of love, had their own special table of honor at the wedding reception held at The University of Texas Club in downtown Austin.
The top of Anthony’s groom’s cake said “No Take Backs!”
Anthony was not hesitant one bit about what he thought would be his favorite part of the wedding day: the dancing! I can see why! This was a party crowd, for sure!
Laura and Anthony exited their University of Texas Club wedding reception through waving glow sticks, before jumping in a pedi-cab, in true Austin-style!
Laura and Anthony, thank you so much for including Dylan and me in your wedding day! We had so much fun with y’all, your friends, and family!
