Commodore Perry Estate Bridal Session

Now that Laura and Anthony have tied the knot at their University of Texas Club wedding (their first month anniversary was actually yesterday!!), I can FINALLY share her bridal portraits!  I’ve wanted to share these since before I took them, honestly.  Laura knew we needed to photograph her bridals while she was off for Spring Break, since she is a teacher.  She wasn’t too sure, however, of where she wanted to take them.  Well, I was fairly bold and suggested Commodore Perry Estate before she had a chance to look around much. This is out of the ordinary for me.  I usually let my brides pick where they want their photos taken.  However, I’d been wanting to shoot here for a LONG time and knew that Laura would really love their architecture and the history of the property.  She fell in love with it, too, and I’m so glad she did!  Her Commodore Perry Estate bridal session had almost endless possibilities for backdrops!  We got a ton of variety in her images, as there are so many locations and looks to choose from here!  See for yourself!

If I haven’t already talked about my love for LONG wedding veils on brides, I’m sorry!  If you’re going to wear a veil, I think you should ROCK A VEIL!  I personally didn’t wear one for my wedding (that we planned in 6 weeks), but I love Love LOVE photographing LONG veils on brides!  There is just something so feminine about them and they’re always flattering!  I love having them during romantic portraits to play with on wedding days, too!  

Laura brought her sweet mama and two of her bridesmaids along to her Commodore Perry Estate bridal session to help fluff and perfect her wedding dress, as needed!  They were also great at playing the part of the wind for this next shot!
