Marissa and Jared met while playing on the same kickball team. His friend had initially shown interest in Marissa, so Jared didn’t pursue her at first.  However, when Marissa made it clear that she had her eyes set on Jared, things changed.  A year after being friends, they started dating.  In October, while on a trip to New York, Jared asked Marissa to be his wife with her grandmother’s ring.  She said yes and the two are planning a Texas Hill Country wedding and it’s my honor to be their Creek Haus Photographer.  We headed to their Dripping Springs wedding venue for their engagement photos last week and these are some of my favorites.

Velvet dresses are very much on trend right now and I’m here for it!  I love this color for Marissa!  So pretty!

These two were so much fun to photograph!  They made a trip of all things wedding planning in Dripping Springs last week.  They tasted cakes and were able to get their Creek Haus wedding engagement photos in while they were in town, along with other planning items. I love that they’re having fun with the planning process, as it should be!
