I found out last week that I am officially old – no longer in the hip generation.  How did I come to this conclusion?  Because I found out that students in high school are now allowed to go to Hawaii for SCIENCE CREDIT!!!  WHAT?!?  Where was this program when I was in high school?  (for those of you who knew me in high school and remember that my high school paid for me to go to Las Vegas on my 17th birthday – that was for a student council conference, NOT school credit!)  The fact that I can say “they didn’t have that when I was in high school” kicks me out of the hip generation.  Anytime you can say a phrase your grandparents related to you “about their day” or “when they were in high school” means you’re no longer “with it.”

The lucky girl who got to go to Hawaii for Science Credit is Brigid.  And, yes, I was totally jealous when she told me.  Like, I probably went cross-eyed and my jaw dropped when she told me.  Here are some of my favorite shots from her Round Rock TX Senior Photography session:
