Berry Springs Park Engagement Photos: Ginnie & Matt

Ginnie and Matt met at work.  They didn’t really get along, at first, but eventually grew on one another.  Ginnie knew their relationship turned serious when Matt took her home to meet his daughter.  Ginnie colored Scooby Doo with his daughter, while Matt cooked the girls dinner.  It was a milestone in their relationship and the two are planning a wedding later this summer.  Here is a peek at their their Berry Springs Park engagement photos that we took on Thursday.

It is absolutely hilarious to listen to these two banter back and forth!  They are both quick witted and keep each other on their toes.

Matt and Ginnie took a trip to Hawaii.  He told her not to expect a proposal on the trip as it was “too cliche” for him, so he didn’t want her to get the wrong impression.  It was just a vacation to enjoy.  Even Ginnie’s friends told her not to get her hopes up, as it wasn’t “Matt’s style” to propose in Hawaii.  When Matt asked Ginnie to join him, sitting on a rail to enjoy the view, she immediately searched for her phone.  She thought it was the perfect opportunity to take a selfie to document their trip.  When she looked back up at Matt while searching for her phone, she could tell something about his voice was different.  He said a ton of sweet things and asked her to marry him.  She cried.  He cried.  They both balled together, holding one another.  It was a secret he had kept from Ginnie and she was truly surprised to get engaged in Hawaii!

Matt and Ginnie – thank you so much for hanging out with me on Thursday!  I had so much fun with the two of you!  I really enjoyed the way y’all BOTH kept the laughing coming!  Y’all were such a joy to photograph and I’m so excited to photograph y’all’s wedding in just a few months!
