Brenham Engagement Photographer: Greg & Maddie

Maddie is one of those people that when you meet her, you just know you could be best friends with her!  She is just so sweet!  In fact, before her engagement session, she and Greg (and Maddie’s sweet mama) invited me to eat lunch with them in downtown Brenham, TX at a cute little cafe called “Must Be Heaven!”  Based on their suggestion, I got the soup and sandwich, which was a perfect late lunch on this chilly afternoon.  It was also a great chance to catch up with them before we started the shoot.  Just down the street from the cafe is an antique shop who has old doors lined up against the building.  

I may have squealed with delight when Maddie stepped out in this ADORABLE tulle skirt!  Seriously, how perfect is her outfit?

Maddie and Greg didn’t want to stay in downtown Brenham, TX for very long, as they had really planned to have their session at a farm house that looks as if it came straight off the pages of Southern Living.  Maddie’s church group is lucky enough to meet here for bible study, so she sent me some photos of the property one night and I was SO PLEASED that this is where they wanted to have their engagement session!  It is, quite literally, picture perfect!

Maddie let me know before their engagement session that Greg is a forehead kisser!  It was so cute!

One of the great things about Greg and Maddie’s Brenham, Texas engagement session was that it happened exactly one year before their wedding date!  :D Maddie and Greg – thank you so much for inviting me out to your hometown AND treating me to lunch!  That was just too sweet of y’all!  Thank you and your kind mama for my cute cup, too!  It pretty much hasn’t left my office since y’all gave it to me!  Thank you!  I cannot wait for your wedding next year!
