When it was time to propose to Melissa, Hamilton told her he wanted to take a weekend trip. Melissa thought it was a great idea! She had wanted some time away, as well, and suggested they go camping. It wasn’t exactly what Hamilton had in mind, but it was what Melissa wanted. On that trip, Hamilton got down on one knee and asked Melissa to spend the rest of their lives together. She said yes and the two are planning a Spring wedding. We had fun shooting their Bull Creek engagement photos over Christmas weekend. Here’s a peek at some of my favorites!
Since they got engaged on a camping trip, an outdoors location was perfect for their engagement photos. Bull Creek has a pretty waterfall that you can see below!
I really loved Melissa’s leather jacket with her red dress! It was perfect for a winter engagement session!

Melissa and Hamilton – thank you so much for spending part of your Christmas weekend with me! I had so much fun with the two of you and am so glad y’all were up for a last minute location change. Getting those waterfall views was worth it! I’m excited to celebrate with y’all this Spring!
