Paige and Chris met me on Friday for their Horseshoe Bay Resort Engagement Photos! This is a special place for them for many reasons. Not only is this where the two will wed this Fall, it is also where their love blossomed. When they first started dating, Chris took Paige to his family’s lake house there and shared how his mom always dreamed of having one of her children get married there. These two are making her dream come true!
Chris will also be forever grateful to his little sister! She let him know that the girl he had been crushing on, his neighbor, Paige, was single again. Soon after that, the two started dating! Their three year dating anniversary is this weekend on Valentine’s Day!
I need to take just a minute or so to tell you how sweet Paige is. A nice couple let us borrow their boat before returning home for some impromptu photos! Plans for the original boat hadn’t worked out quite as planned, but this sweet couple, Dave and his wife, allowed us to jump aboard! They were super helpful and very friendly! After about 5 minutes on the boat, Paige told them thank you about a million times! Even after they were on their way, she continued to say how grateful she was for their willingness to let us use their boat for some great photo ops and even said it was a GOD thing, that they had been in just the right place at just the right moment! Everything about that interaction and gratitude reminded me just how lucky I am to work with such a sweet bride! I truly am blessed to be able to work with these two!
One of the many, many perks of taking Horseshoe Bay Resort Engagement Photos is that no matter what season it is, there is still plant life and color in your images! I loved it!
