When it comes to creating a dreamy celebration, few places rival the charm of Pecan Springs Ranch. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, this venue became the perfect backdrop for a warm Christmas wedding filled with love. With a color palette of deep winter greens, soft whites, and specks of red and gold, this wedding was a true holiday masterpiece.

One of the day’s sweetest moments was Megan & Patrick’s first look. This private exchange not only calmed their nerves but also gave them an opportunity to soak in a few quiet, heartfelt moments together before the festivities began. First looks also allow couples to capture more photos before the ceremony, allowing them to enjoy their cocktail hour with guests. It was the perfect way to start their day with joy and intention.

Megan’s and Patrick’s parents are just the cutest, kindest humans!  Fun fact: Megan used to work for Patrick’s parents.  She ended up connecting with Patrick via an online dating service, but had already met him through her work.  It’s so sweet how their story has intertwined all around them!

I don’t always share family photos on the blog, but I adore this generation photo for Megan!  Those wedding bands represent decades of love and commitment!

Fireplace Wedding Ceremony in Austin

Megan and Patrick’s outdoor ceremony set the tone for a cozy and intimate celebration. It was held in front of a grand stone fireplace complete with a glowing fire. Church pews at the front and end of the aisle added a touch of timeless charm. White rose petals lined the aisle to create a romantic path for the bride.

Christmas Wedding Reception at Pecan Springs Ranch

The reception was held inside Pecan Springs Ranch’s warm ballroom. Candlelight cast a soft glow over the tables, which were adorned with florals in shades of red, pink, and white.

Their first dance really showed off her dress! It was made for twirling!

I love when parents love each other!

Patrick, a former member of a collegiate dance team, surprised everyone with a high-energy routine, full of lifts and spins. Guests laughed, cheered, and joined him on the dance floor, adding to the night’s unforgettable memories.
