When it was time to propose, Edgar took Shannon on a trip to Disneyland. He had trouble with security at the airport when he had the ring in his pocket. The security guard smiled and wished him luck. Shannon didn’t pay too much attention to that, but Edgar thought the cat might have been out of the bag. On sweethearts’ night at Disneyland, Edgar got down on one knee to ask Shannon to be his wife. She said yes and the two will be married this Fall. It’s going to be a glamorous event and I’m so excited to document this fun season for them. Here’s some of my favorites from their Laguna Gloria engagement photos taken last week in Austin, Texas.
Yassss, Queen!! Shannon is my spirit animal! I love that she rocked a bold dress and red lipstick! She can also rock the model face and has a great laugh! I kept them way too long for their engagement session and they only had one outfit, so you know I was digging everything about them! They pull off the power couple flawlessly.
They probably didn’t believe me, but every location we photographed at was better than the last. Their Laguna Gloria engagement photos kept getting better and better with each location change! I’m not even kind of sorry for the overload of images in this post – I have way too many favorites from their session!
Spring is finally starting to bloom here in Austin, Texas! I’m so thankful Shannon and Edgar timed their session perfectly to include some beautiful blossoms!

I’m so thankful Shannon and Edgar booked Laguna Gloria for their engagement session! It was the perfect backdrop for their glamorous session and I loved every minute of it! I had so much with these two and cannot wait for their wedding day later this year!
