Although they’re both Texas natives, it took Jessica and Beau both going to college out of state to find each other. When it was time to propose, Beau made Jessica a book of all the reasons why he loves her. After she said yes, they enjoyed dinner with both their families before heading home for the after party with friends. At midnight, the crowd celebrated her birthday. If there’s anything I’ve learned about these two, it’s that they love to enjoy life to the fullest and will be having one heck of a party next month after they exchange wedding vows. Here’s a peek at my favorites from their Salado Texas engagement photos.
Although it was a cloudy (and very windy) day, their outfit colors and the stone of Salado College Ruins still gave their engagement pictures a brighter vibe! They were also flexible with their start time, as we knew we wouldn’t have a true sunset that day. It’s important to start earlier on cloudy days, as we won’t have daylight as long as we would on sunny days.
Beau custom designed Jessica’s engagement ring. Some of the stones are from a family ring on Beau’s side.
This hat will be Jessica’s something blue on her wedding day! It even has her married initials! Encounter Hat Co. made it for her and it’ll be perfect for her Texas Hill Country wedding next month! I’m already looking forward to stylizing all her bridal details for photos!
Jessica and Beau – thank you so much for making the time for your Salado Texas engagement photos! I’m so glad we were able to spend the afternoon together before your wedding day and cannot wait to celebrate with y’all next month! It’s going to be such a fun party!
