After photographing indoors, we made our way to one of my favorite locations at Villa Antonia: the courtyard fountain. Analysa carried an all-white bouquet that felt effortlessly timeless. The monochromatic florals paired beautifully with the venue’s stone architecture and soft neutral palette.

As soon as the breeze picked up and caught her veil, something shifted. The movement created that dramatic, cinematic effect every bride hopes for. Her veil floated behind her, framing her silhouette in the most elegant way. Standing nearby, her mom watched quietly before tears started streaming down her face.

Planning a slightly earlier start time gave us flexibility to explore the venue fully before ending the session at one of the property’s most iconic viewpoints overlooking the Texas Hill Country.

The Veiled Virgin Inspired Bridal Portrait at Villa Antonia

We finished the session at the overlook above the venue. This is where some of my favorite photographs from the entire evening happened. Inspired by classical sculptures and the famous “Veiled Virgin” style artwork, we draped Analysa’s mantilla veil over her face for a series of portraits that felt artistic and deeply feminine.

The lace softened every feature while still revealing her expression underneath. The result felt reminiscent of marble goddess statues and timeless European artwork.

The funniest part?

As soon as she was under the veil, Analysa started making ghost noises and waving her hands around dramatically. I couldn’t stop laughing. She was convinced she looked ridiculous. I assured her she looked absolutely stunning. Thankfully, she trusted me. These photographs ended up becoming some of my favorite images from her entire bridal session.
